No Water, No Hot Water to Shower, No Problem

Often times when a house sits vacant the new owner discovers that there is no water to the shower or that the hot water starts out fine then diminishes. This occurs when a shower is not used often or where a house has been unoccupied for a period of time. Shower valves, especially Moen shower valves, have a tendency to freeze when not used. The solution is to replace the old shower cartridge with a new one.
