Improving Water Flow to a Lav Faucet

A clogged aerator on the faucet can cause low water flow when sediment or mineral deposits build up on the aerator. The aerator is the tiny screen on the end of the faucet spout. The aerator can be unscrewed and easily cleaned. To clean the aerator, loosen the sediment with a small brush (an old toothbrush works well). Rinse away loosened sediment and replace the aerator. Water flow should improve.
